Currently:

I am a freelance writer interested in science, travel, and lifestyle topics.

Contact:

I am based in the United Kingdom (5 hours ahead of New York most of the time) and can be reached on +44 7931459362 or by email at lucas.laursen (at) gmail.com.

Background:

I went freelance in 2006 with the support of a Henry Russell Shaw Fellowship after graduating from Harvard University with a degree in astronomy and astrophysics. Along the way I've dabbled with vagrancy in the Scottish Highlands, given guided punt tours on the River Cam, worked with an internet startup, and taken part in drug studies. I don't recommend the latter.

These days most of my wages are honest. See below.
